This one is a little bit funny… Pretty much everything changes for Roe at the beginning of the book which makes all the developments of the first book obsolete. It’s almost like a new first book in a series.
As for the mystery, Roe doesn’t actually do much investigating but her character is strengthened which I think will make for better subsequent books in the series.
